Nurse Practitioner (NP) Float - PRN - Infusion Center -

Location: Cumming, GA

The TwelveStone Infusion Centers LLC, manages the Infusion needs of patient’s and maintains the continuum of care, from intake, assessment, and treatment through the completion of their visit. Our primary focus is the safe and effective administration of biologic medications (e.g., Remicade, Tysabri, etc.), but we also offer a full range of infusion services.

We are currently hiring a Floating PRN/variable Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant for our Georgia infusion centers, including Cumming, Duluth and surrounding areas. This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering infusion therapy to our customers suffering from chronic diseases and acute medical illnesses. We welcome NPs and PAs from all medical backgrounds with a positive attitude, preferably possessing outstanding IV skills, and requiring an active license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Provides patient and family centered IV infusion care. Facilitates consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team.
  • Incorporates the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings. Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with physicians, health professionals, health related agencies, patients and families. Works effectively with multidisciplinary team members. Promotes mutual respect and trust working within a team model.
  • Reviews, updates and recommends relevant medical, clinical and administrative policies,
    procedures and education & skills to help assure high quality patient care.
    Actively participates in quality initiatives.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records and reports, participates in patient service and program reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide coverage as-needed (opportunities approx. 1-2 days/week)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school. Active and unrestricted APRN and RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current active board certification with ANCC or AANP. May substitute a degree and certification from NCCPA with an active, unrestricted license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS minimum).
  • 2 years' experience as an NP or PA in a clinical setting required or 3+ years as a Registered Nurse in oncology, ER, ICU, and/or infusion center.
  • Infusion experience required.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses.

  • Prior experience with typing, computers and electronic medical records
  • Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach to patient care
